Sustainability Program

AppsForte is committed to reducing our impact to the climate change and improving sustainability in our actions and business operations. Our program focuses on the environmental impact in key areas of sustainability as we work with our clients and partners to have a positive impact on people, environment and the economy.  This is also reflected in our corporate strategy and how we use technology, innovations, and other resources.

• Energy consumption. How much energy is being used by our company? What types of renewable and non-renewable energy are we using?  Measurable units include:
  • Spending.
  • Kilowatts or megawatts; therms or cubic feet if using natural gas.
• Water usage. How much freshwater is our company using? How much wastewater are we outputting? Are we producing any water through sustainable practices, like rainwater harvesting? Measurable units include:
  • Gallons or 100-gallon increments.
  • Water quality, including stressed or polluted watersheds.
• Waste generation. How much trash is our company creating? What recycling program do we have in place? And are there opportunities to create a compost solution? Measurable units include:
  • Tons or metric tons.
  • Pounds.
• Carbon emission. What is our company’s carbon footprint? What volume of greenhouse gasses are we emitting?  Measurable units include:
  • Kilograms
  • Megatonne of carbon dioxide equivalents, also known as CO2e.

Together with our clients we adapt and learn from latest technologies to grow our societal intelligence. We invest in our people, innovation and technologies to efficiently integrate sustainability into our project assignments. In addition, if and when required or possible, we actively contribute to enhancing the communities who live and work in the surroundings of our project locations.
